‘Nasha Mukthi’-Addiction Free Kerala Campaign Inaugurated
With an intention to wipe off the alcoholic addiction in Kerala, Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital take an initiative for new venture, ‘Nasha Mukthi’-Addiction free Kerala Campaign. The program was inaugurated by Honorable Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer on 3rd March 2010. Dr. AM Anvar, BAMS, MD(Ay) (CMD – Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital), Smt. Kamala Sadanandan (Chair person - KSPDC), Mr. T.M. Varghese (Ernakulam Dist. President – Madya Nirodhana Samithi), Dr. Reji Kizhkkedath, B.Sc, MBBS, DHMS, D Ortho., Dr. Murali Mohan Nair, M.Sc (Psychology), Phd. were also participated in the program.
Foreign Doctors and Health workers include Ayurveda in study tours
Foreign University students, doctors in various specialties and health workers are very keen to include Ayurvedic seminars, visit to Ayurveda Hospitals and interaction with Ayurveda Doctors in their study tour program especially in Kerala visit. They are very much interested in learning and propagating the Ayurveda treatment in lifestyle disorders and chronic degenerative disorders.
As a part of CAAP (Continuing Ayurveda Awareness Program), an initiative by Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital, a team of 11 American students attended one day seminar on 15 of January 2010 and another team of 14 Dentist’s and Social workers attended seminar on 19th January 2010.
"One day seminar on Ayurveda, interaction with Ayurveda physicians and patients organized on 25th January 2010 for a team of 25 Pediatric Neurologists and health workers from Israel" said Dr. A.M.Anvar Managing Director Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital.
Punarnava organized many seminars in 2009 for Doctors from Belgium, America, UK, France, South Africa and Middle East, the interest shown by doctors of various specialties shows the increased demand of Ayurveda treatments worldwide, he added.
US Students visit Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital Pvt. Ltd.
A group of students with their professor Dr. Donna Howard from USA visited Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital Pvt. Ltd. on 15.01.2010. All of them are university students doing their graduation and post graduation in the University of Mary Land in USA. They were given awareness on the basic principles of Ayurveda and ayurvedic treatments. All of them are underwent ayurveda massage.
This was conducted as part of CAAP (Continuing Ayurveda Awareness Program) an initiative by Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Cochin, Kerala.

Best Clinical Practice Award for Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital
Punarnava hospital has been awarded the "Best Clinical Practice Award". Award was received by the Managing Director of Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital Dr. A.M.Anvar from Honorable Agricultural Minister Sri. Mullakkara Ratnakaran in the function associated with the second AHMA state conference at Kollam
Dr. A.M.ANVAR RECIEVED THIS YEAR’S AROGYASEVARATNA AWARD
Dr. A.M.Anvar has recieved year’s Arogyasevaratna award. His selfless service to the society by providing Ayurveda treatments to the needy and his effort to spread the awareness on the importance of Ayurveda has been highly appreciated by the award committee. This award is finalized by a judging committee consisting of eminent personalities like, Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer, Justice K.P. Radhakrishna Menon, Mr. Kerala Varma Thirumulpad, Advocate Vakkom N. Vijayan and Advocate E.X. Joseph.
The award ceremony was conducted at Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer’s residence (Sadgamaya), on Sunday 24th May 2009. Honorable minister for industries Mr. Elamaram Kareem , chief guest for the day gave away the award to Dr.Anvar
This award has been constituted by the Hindi Prachaar Sabha in memory of the famous freedom fighter and journalist Mr. C.P. Mammu
