In the abode of Ayurveda- Malaysian team at Punarnava
The Malaysian tour operator's consortium named wonders of India who were the special guests of Kerala Tourism Dept. visited Punarnava Bamboo Lagoon Ayurveda Village: the new venture of Punarnava Ayurveda Hospitals. The visit was as a part of endorsing the various aspects of Ayurveda Medical Tourism globally and to highlight the professional approach of Punarnava Group regarding the Ayurvedic treatments at an international level. The visit was conducted with the whole hearted support of the Jet Airways.
Dr. AM Anvar, the CMD of Punarnava Ayurveda Hospitals explained the basics of Ayurveda to the Malaysian team. Doctors of Punarnava also briefed about the treatments given to a Malaysian school teacher suffering from Myasthenia Gravis, a rare auto immune disease. The consortium director Mr. Francis Wong affirmed that the discussions helped in viewing Ayurveda as a strong medical science apart from the role it plays in tourism scenario.
SEMINAR ON AYURVEDA HELD
As part of Continuing Ayurveda Awareness Program (CAAP), an initiative by Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital, Edappally, a team of 24 doctors from various universities of Great Britain attended a one day seminar on Ayurveda on January 18th at the hospital campus. They made good interactions with Dr. AM Anvar, the CMD and Chief Physician of Punarnava Ayurveda Group regarding the scope of Ayurveda medicaments in the management of lifestyle disorders, degenerative autoimmune diseases and developmental delay in children. This January, 3 groups of health workers from different foreign universities visited Punarnava so far. This interest of doctors in various clinical specialities towards CAAP reveals the demand of Ayurveda treatments has risen worldwide, Dr. Anvar added.
